AMA Group winners at Women in Collision Awards

AMA Group is proud to report that, of the six inspiring women representing our group in this year’s Women in Collision Awards, two won awards in their categories:

Chloe Oldland (left) was one of two winners in the Technician/Estimator category. Chloe is an estimator at Joondalup Smash Repairs in Western Australia, with a background as a refinish technician.

Centre Manager, Trent McGorey said, “With her amazing customer service skills, industry knowledge and her trade, she is very versatile within the business and can cover other roles such as Spray Painter, Customer Service Officer, or Production Manager when required.

“Chloe has a can-do attitude and is willing to adapt to the fast-paced changes within the AMA Group and also the industry.”

Her nominator, Jessica Snowden describes Chloe as the backbone of the site. “Her expert quoting is what sets the business up for quality repairs, customer satisfaction and profitability.”

Kylie Clark (right) was one of two winners in the Parts Manager category. Kylie is the Parts Manager at Bellarine Smash Repairs, responsible for managing the parts supply for all vehicles processed at site ensuring that parts are stocked and easily located.

With over 25 years in the collision repair industry, Kylie has a wealth of knowledge and industry experience.

Her nominator, Dennis Carter said, “Kylie brings knowledge, enthusiasm, kindness, and drive to the team. She is well respected by her peers who cannot speak highly enough of her. She has a good rapport with her suppliers and will go above and beyond to source a part. Her end of month credits are always at a minimum due to her experience and understanding of the industry. She also helps train other Parts Managers in the region.”

Cloe and Kylie will be profiled in an upcoming issue of Paint & Panel Magazine and will join the panel that judges next year’s Women in Collision nominations. AMA Group congratulates them both, and all our team members who were nominated this year. From apprentices to centre managers, talented women strengthen our network and our whole industry.
