Training
AMA is committed to becoming an I-Car Gold Class repairer and we are well advanced on this journey.
We ‘grow our own’ through our apprenticeship and graduate programs. The apprentice program is focused on hiring paint and panel apprentices at sites across Australia and New Zealand. To date we have almost 300 apprentices in our program. We promote diversity, in particular attracting female and mature-aged apprentices.
TAFE and school partnerships are also a critical part of our resourcing strategy and educating communities on the opportunities that students may not have considered. We source job seekers that would be suitable for an array of positions we have in communities all over Australia. We currently have several employees with disabilities and employees who have ‘returned to work’ after long-term unemployment in our workplace.
