Andrew founded the Gemini Group in Perth in 2009 and built the Gemini brand into one of the largest privately owned consolidators offering integrated claims management and repair services to the insurer, corporate and consumer markets.
Andrew brings extensive management expertise to the AMA group. With over 35 years of experience in finance, acquisitions, strategy and building insurance relationships, Andrew’s ability to continually innovate will broaden AMA’s relationships with insurance companies both domestically and internationally.
Steve Becker is an experienced Chief Financial Officer with extensive experience in high growth organisations providing financial and strategic leadership. Most recently, Steve spent the past 2 years as the Chief Financial Officer of Affinity Education Group and, prior to that, over 10 years as the Chief Financial Officer of the formerly ASX-listed Mantra Group.
Steve Bubulj has over 25 years of insurance experience with extensive knowledge of Supply Chain, Customer Experience, Procurement, Strategy, Claims & Assessing Operations and Product Development.
Steve has a strong background in strategy, organisational change, people leadership, operations and stakeholder engagement.
Steve has held several senior management/executive roles at IAG, Youi, QBE Insurance and joined AMA Group as CEO Panel Division in July 2019. Steve has a background in small business, and is a Board Trustee at ICAR Australia, a not for profit collision repair training organisation.
Campbell Jones is an experienced and successful CEO with over 25 years in the automotive and logistics industries. He is a passionate, values-based leader who creates a winning culture.
Campbell has held senior executive leadership roles with Manheim, Cox Automotive and most recently ACM Parts, a wholly owned subsidiary of Suncorp and now part of the ASX-listed AMA Group.
He has led major strategic development and organisational transformation programs and brings significant expertise in business development, finance, operations, supply chain and warehouse and distribution.
Campbell has an acute commercial focus, prioritising growth the customer-base, delivering new products, and simplifying and innovating within the businesses he leads.
Over 25 years ago James started his career as a spray painter in Vancouver Canada. After his apprenticeship he decided to pursue his passion to travel, finding himself working for a paint Manufacturer in Australia. Here James met Andy Hopkins, and has been with Gemini since its inception.
In the early days at Gemini James worked in Operations. As time went on he assisted Andy Hopkins with the growth of the Business becoming involved in Acquisitions, New Greenfield Builds and Group Procurement.
James’s responsibilities are negotiating, seeking out, finalising and organising mergers and acquisitions, meeting with specialist to discuss technical products, researching potential client portfolios, forecasting business cases and building business-to-business partnerships with clients.
James’s competencies include financial management, market research, cost and price analysis, evaluation, acquisition planning research, contract administration, marketing and sales, problem solving, leadership, quality control, cultural awareness and technology trends.
Born in Melbourne, David joined Capital S.M.A.R.T in January 2018, bringing more than 25 years’ experience in senior executive positions.
David began his career as a design and development Automotive engineer with Ford Motor Company and has over 25 years of experience in the Automotive, Aerospace, Defence, Packaging and Insurance Repair Service industries. With strong market knowledge across Australia, New Zealand, China, Thailand, U.S., South Africa and India, David has spent many years developing effective global relationships with customers and partners, leading negotiations, and executing and managing manufacturing projects to deliver profitability targets and global growth aspirations.
Prior to joining Capital S.M.A.R.T, David was at Visy Holdings as the General Manager of the Australia and New Zealand Plastics Division. Prior to that David was appointed in February 2015 as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer at Quickstep Holdings, the largest independent high grade carbon-fibre manufacturer for the aerospace and automotive industries in Australia.
With Global experience as Chief Operating officer at Futuris Automotive (2015 – 2006), and General Management and Engineering Leadership Roles with Air International (2005- 2001) and Lear Corporation (2000-1996), David has served on numerous boards in Australia, South Africa, China and Germany as both an Executive Director, and most recently as a Non-Executive Director of Deakin Universities Institute of Frontier Materials.
David holds a Bachelor of Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Honours and is a graduate of the 2005 General Management Program at Harvard Business School.
Mark is a professional communicator with more than 30 years experience in journalism, government, corporate affairs and as a CEO and owner of successful public relations businesses.
He is a savvy navigator and strategist of political, corporate and media issues, and a proficient, effective writer and creative thinker. Throughout his career Mark has been a trusted adviser to boards, Chairpersons and CEOs of major ASX listed Australian and international companies.
Mark is an expert in media and issues management, stakeholder engagement, reputation and crisis management, political strategy, community campaigns and change/advocacy programs. He is also an accomplished media trainer and public spokesperson.
Tricia has 25 years’ experience in HR and organisational change. Tricia has worked with Orica and Futuris Automotive in global roles, and most recently at Capital S.M.A.R.T as General Manager HR.
As Group HR Director Tricia is responsible for oversight of all HR functions across the AMA Group.
Shane leads a team of IT professionals who are aligned to the execution of AMA Group’s business strategy. He has been chief architect of the IT Infrastructure & applications since the business’ inception.
Shane has more than 20 years’ experience in the Automotive industry and has worked in a diverse range of operational administration & management positions. He has extensive knowledge across business integrations, change management, project management, standardising IT environments, vendor management, leadership & building relationships.
Fiona has over 25 years’ company secretarial, corporate governance and corporate compliance experience, most notably as Company Secretary of the Mantra Group (ASX 200) for over 11 years where she was integral to the listing of Mantra Group on the ASX in 2014 and the sale of the business to AccorHotels in 2018.
Fiona worked for KPMG in South Africa, where she headed the Company Secretarial Department within the Private Business Services Division. Fiona has also worked in a variety of consultancy roles where she provided advice to both private and public listed companies. Fiona is a Member of Governance Institute of Australia and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
